Announcements and In-App Notifications Keep Every Workspace in the Loop
As WelcomeDesk has grown, so has the amount we want to tell you — new features, changes, the occasional heads-up. An email blast isn't the right tool for that. So we built the right tool.

An announcements feed, inside the product
WelcomeDesk now has a built-in announcements feed. When we ship something — like most of the features in this very blog — it shows up there, in context, where you actually work. A badge tells you when there's something unread; open it, catch up, move on. No inbox clutter, no missed news.
In-app notifications for what happens in your workspace
Alongside announcements, a notification bell surfaces activity that's relevant to you and your role. Recent items are gathered in one place and marked read as you see them, so the things that need your attention don't get buried.
A small detail: tidier reference numbers
One quieter change shipped in the same release. Reference numbers — like support ticket IDs — are now randomised rather than sequential. It's a minor thing, but sequential IDs quietly leak information: anyone can infer how many tickets exist, or how fast they're being created. Randomised numbers simply don't. It's the sort of small hardening we'll keep doing without much fanfare.
Stay in the loop
There's nothing to switch on. The announcements feed and notification bell are live in your workspace now — look for them in the top navigation. It's how we'll keep you posted on everything we ship next.
