Meet the team behind WelcomeDesk

A small, focused team building visitor management that works the way a real front desk does.

CF

Connor Fiatal

Operations Director

Connor runs day-to-day operations at WelcomeDesk, keeping the product moving from roadmap to release. He works closest to the front-desk teams who use WelcomeDesk every day.

Most of what lands on the product blog passes through Connor first — he turns customer feedback into the features that ship, and makes sure each one is something a receptionist can pick up without a manual.

Experience

Connor comes to WelcomeDesk from a career in facilities engineering and site operations — the work of keeping complex, high-stakes buildings running safely and efficiently. Most recently he has led engineering, safety and security for a large residential learning-and-retreat campus, and before that ran his own facilities-engineering practice, designing and commissioning utility and process systems for advanced-manufacturing sites across the Western US.

Earlier roles took him through semiconductor manufacturing, where he validated and ran the infrastructure behind a chip fab; aerospace and drone technology, leading facilities for a high-tech campus and its test sites; and hospitality estate management. He also spent a decade as a contract health and facilities officer on remote properties, responding to emergencies as an EMT. That mix of operations, safety-critical systems and a calm hand when something breaks is what he brings to running WelcomeDesk day to day.

CR

Chad Reynolds

Global Director of Sales

Chad leads global sales at WelcomeDesk, working with the office managers, IT leads and security teams evaluating WelcomeDesk for their workplaces.

That front-line view shapes the roadmap: the questions buyers ask Chad about compliance, integrations and scale are the questions the product sets out to answer next.

Experience

Chad has built his career in and around the built environment. Today he works in commercial real estate, managing property development projects from early planning through to on-site delivery — coordinating stakeholders, budgets and timelines, and keeping a close eye on the operational detail that makes a project land.

Before real estate, he spent several years in technical sales and account management for building life-safety systems — fire alarm, emergency communication and area-of-refuge systems across healthcare, commercial, federal and stadium projects — and began his career as an applications engineer in precision manufacturing. That blend of engineering rigour, safety-critical systems and client-facing sales is exactly what he brings to WelcomeDesk customers.
